| Body | I had an alright round at the Littlehill course this morning (no issues with the course itself outwith the empty cider/beer cans littering the rough) and fancied signing up to Glasgow Clubs golf membership at £220 per year for access to all courses.
However, when I reached my local Glasgow Club office I was told that they were unaware of any sort of golf membership available and didn't even know it existed on their own website!
This hasn't given me any confidence at all in Glasgow Club for a golf membership, so I was wondering if any golfers on here might have suggestions of an alternative course that's near the Maryhill area? I have sporadic access to a car, so distance isn't too much of a hassle.
Ideally a club that's currently open to new members (obviously) and can provide a direct debit payment option for the membership. As for skill wise, I am a complete novice after a 15 year break from the sport.
I have been thinking about using the new Open Play system on the Scottish Golf app to obtain my handicap, but I'd rather be a club member in order to access competitions etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
