Hey guys,
I'm moving to Glasgow soon and I've been trying to find a jacket suitable for the weather there. I don't have a lot of options (Pretty much just decathlon, North face and columbia).
I've found a northface jacket for 245 pounds. It's waterproof, almost reaches my knees and the outer waterproof layer can be detached so I can choose to wear the inner layer or outer layer separately. (The inner layer can also be worn inside-out). It's also apparently suitable for up to -25 degrees Celsius (I know that's extreme, but tbf I'm coming from a country with 45 degrees Celsius weather).

Is it worth it? It seems a bit expensive, but I don't really have a lot of options here. I found a jacket in columbia 69 pounds but its water-resistant rather than water proof.
