OK so I’ll start with a little bit of disclosure. I grew up in a working class part of Glasgow and went to Glasgow Uni in the early to mid 80s. The whole concept of a Glasgow Uni accent wasn’t a thing then. I’m guessing, but I assume we’re referring to something like this: “Hi Finlay, it’s Farquhar here. Are we going out for drinkies tonight with Cameron and Calder?” Or something else?
