TitleBeware blue-green algae blooms

With all the good weather we've been having, you should take extra care around water. It's not just drowning that is a risk, it's the blue-green algae as well. It's toxic to us, and it's toxic to our pets. Not even flowing water may be safe as [this](https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/puppy-death-algae-poisoning-glasgow-21207265) tragic story makes all to clear.

Usually the council will put signs up (often see those in Queens Park), but COVID may be limiting their ability to check and post signs.

If in doubt, stay out.
