My folks live in a block of tenement flats in the Southside. Think theres 7 flats in the block. Some residents are trying to arrange factors to look after the property and to also provide insurance etc but I've heard nightmare stories from some people saying it's a nightmare trying to leave a contract with a factor.
Anyone have any suggestions as to any alternatives? A communal bank account that all the residents contribute to? My folks don't work anymore so the £45 a month is a struggle for them.
