| Body | Genuine question- Why is the city so fucking disgusting?I'm back from spending 5 days in Edinburgh and it's night and day, the only litter I saw there was the odd fag end and dumped mask. It's NOTHING like Glasgow.In Glasgow There's literally litter everywhere, -literally-.
You can't walk down any street without seeing crisp packets, empty cans, takeaway waste etc. Every single street is plagued by this. Even the 'nicer' areas in the West end and Southside are just coated in litter.
Even the Junkies in Edinburgh were more subtle and seemed to keep to themselves, no one was threatening me for 50p and following me around like they do in Glasgow. The Junkies around Buchanan St and Central are out of control, just like the litter.
What is going on in this city? I've never lived elsewhere and I'm not well-traveled but for the past few years I'm finally getting out and about around the country and the issues definitely seem to be way more obvious in Glasgow. I was always under the impression all large cities would be this disgusting. But nope. |
