Body | Past few days I've observed drivers blocking junctions, drivers driving on the oncoming lane to bully their way in at the end and nearly had an accident yesterday which would have been my first in 5 years of driving.
I try my best to be courteous and I don't let things like that bother me. I'd rather get traffic moving than have a stand off with an impatient driver 99% of the time.
But yesterday I was completely caught off guard. I was heading to the M8 East slip road from springburn road. Noticed the no-stopping signs and two roads, left for M8 and right for the city. I chose my lane and treated it like any normal day until a BMW tried to race infront of me at the lights and pull in front of me with no indication. I nearly hit them and would have had they not swerved back into their own lane. There was no reason for it as the turn has two lanes with a straight they could have used to overtake me.
After they failed to overtake me, they then stopped blocking the right lane and tried to bully their way in front of a 32 tonne truck that was behind me and I just thought to myself "I don't know how to handle this level of stupidity". So, here I am. How do you handle situations like these? |
