How come no studios in Glasgow accept credit cards? They’ll give out half price discount vouchers, charge ye £750 for full day sittings but it’s actually 5 hours and some artists are more artists than professionals.. but I’ve yet to come across a shop that accepts credit cards.
Now it’s no like am daft, I understand some studios are operating in a grey area and really bend there artists over a barrel but the shoddy excuses of “we only accept PayPal or cash because we know it’s definitely there” doesn’t cut it…
I could walk in tomorrow, go up to my artist I want to book with, pay in full, wait three months and get my tattoo, within that time I’m protected incase lockdown, they go bust etc & likewise with my artist but no where offers it?
Feel a bit dismayed improving my credit the past few years and now when I want to treat myself I’m shot in the face with these excuses because they are all cooking their books and dealing a bit dodgy for a couple extra quid
