Does anybody else use the word “gemy”? Meaning cool or somebody who wants to be cool. As in “he’s a wee gemy f***”. Got this from my mum who is an old Glaswegian. But I say it to my friends here in Glasgow and they have no clue of what it means. I have looked it up too and there is no mention of it being part of Glaswegian dialect.
