TitleRoadworks/closures rant.

So, I picked the wife up from work at around 19:50, she'd worked a few hours later to help out. I head up along Cathedral St to head onto the M8 eastbound, and just before the road splits theres a yellow sign "Stirling St closed ahead", nothing else. I've been driving a long time but I don't know all the streets and I think it's a side street, whatever. I go left and theres a few cones blocking the road, fair enough. I hook back onto Cathedral St to turn left onto Castle St and onto the M8 the way I was gonna go, still no other signs around, left at that wee one-way road to the M8, nope, cones there too. At this point theres around 15-20 other cars just cutting about trying to figure out what's happening. So I turn along the bus/taxi-only road because I'm pissed off and decide to go up to the Royal and onto the M8 next to the A&E. I wait at the lights to turn left then right onto the M8, no signs anywhere, I indicate right and nope, that on-ramp is being coned off too, belt the horn out of frustration and all the cone-monkeys give a sarcastic cheer. Had to turn right onto Royston Road due to other traffic then onto the M8 at Blochairn. How fucking hard is it to put proper signage up "no M8 access ahead".
