| Body | Was just on a night out and jumped out for a fag. Overheard some young girl get knocked back from Polo Lounge, she had hung back looking for a mask so they had already let all her pals in. They left her with some stranger and said he was to look after her and that he wasn't allowed in either.
She seemed more sober than half the folk stumbling out of there so I'm not sure what the bouncers were getting at, but fair enough, bouncers are allowed to refuse entry to anyone. What got me was this though.
The girl said she didn't want to be left alone with a stranger, and left alone without her friends as her phone was dead so she couldn't call them to come out. The bouncer said she was fucking sick in the head for implying that she could have been raped on the street and that she was to (kindly) fuck off from the premises. They also threatened her with putting an image of her from the security footage on social media to display her as being totally batshit.
I'm sorry, but when did an LGBT space act like this? Jesus, even Glasgow is quite a progressive place. I get that they had the right to refuse her entry, but surely they could have told her actual pals to stay with her? |
