| Body | I moved away from Scotland/Glasgow few years ago. I just can't handle the tap water here any longer.
I'm starting to make plans for moving back and buying a house in Glasgow. Areas I'm looking at are:
* Govan,
* Rutherglen,
* Partick,
Areas I want to rule out are nearly all in the East End of Glasgow (Rutherglen being the exception), North Lanarkshire for personal reasons.
I've been eyeing up properties around 150k or less. The housing market is bonkers atm and I'm trying to figure out how much cash aside I'd need to compete on "offers over."
I'm hoping maybe some folk here might have recent experience of much extra cash they needed?
I know in shawlands a friend recently got offered 20k above the asking price. So I've ruled out Shawlands atm.
Also, is there any new build developments anyone know of they'd recommend by the looks of it? |
