Body | Hi everyone,
So I'm just an Edinburgh boy hoping to become a homeowner in the next 2-3 years. As you have probably heard, Edinburgh property prices are beyond ridiculous, so I decided to check out what's on offer in Glasgow on Zoopla and was rather pleasantly surprised by what's listed for under £100k.
Reading stories on this sub about how people are regularly paying £30-50k+ over the asking price does lead me to think the low asking prices on Zoopla are giving me false confidence and that I should prepare to raise a solid bidding budget if I want to secure a property in Glasgow.
So just wanted to check with y'all, how much should I generally expect to have to bid above valuation in order to have a decent chance of securing the property?
I imagine it obviously varies by location, asking price tag and property type, so thought it'd be best to gather your opinion on 4 specific properties I would be interested in. *How much do you think these will eventually sell for?*
