TitleFirst Time Seller Advice

Alright

I'm a First Time Seller and looking for any advice from those who have sold (ideally recently) and any other info I can get to avoid the pitfalls of selling.

Bit of background - I bought my first home about 3.5 years ago and am now selling it. The initial fixed term period has ended and I won't receive an early repayment charge as a result of selling. My partner and I are renting a place elsewhere in the country (for work) and we're looking to buy a place together in 12 to 18 months time.

My understanding is that I can go with an established brick and mortar agent who will sell it for me but they can be expensive, fee-wise. Or I can go with an online company who are cheaper (but I suspect people may criticise them for not doing as good a job).

Any advice would be welcome. I will be able to sell it from Dec 1st onwards and would like to complete it sooner rather than later.

Thanks
