I was at the GSoA degree show this weekend and was quite surprised at the number of Chinese students. One of the communications shows was 90% Chinese for instance. And in one classroom I could see that about 90% of the names on peoples desks were Chinese as well.
Is there some sort of exchange program with Chinese universities or is it just rich people buying their way into the school?
To clarify it would be equally strange to me if it was 90% Americans or whatever. Just seemed strange that there was such a lack of local representation. |
