Im training for the Beastie Triathlon in Loch Lomond next month and have so far been doing all my swim training in the pool and looking to get a bit of open water training under my belt before the event. Does anyone know anywhere in the immediate Glasgow area that would be good for/actually allows open water swimming? Time is a premium between work and 2 kids so I dont really want to have to drive an hour each way to Loch Lomond a couple of times a week to train so somewhere closer would be better. |
