TitleBuying reasonably priced meat of good standard

When buying meat I usually go to supermarkets; Tesco, Morissons usually. M&S to a lesser extent.

Is there anywhere to get better value or is it just the same everywhere?

I've used the Chinese Supermarket at Saracen Street in the past but only for sauces, rice and gyoza.

I used to use Food Fayre in Easterhouse and Drumchapel if I was passing but haven't been for a few years.

With rising food costs I was wondering if its worth my while sourcing my meat elsewhere or just to stick to supermarkets.
