Hello all. I am currently living in the US and am looking into going to gradschool in a few years. I really want to go to the University of Glasgow for Information Management & Preservation. I know I'll need a student visa and I know I will need a job as I will be unable to live in student housing as I have two cats. I have lots of questions. How can I work? Where should I work? How much does it cost to live in Glasgow? How do I do laundry with no dryer (please...don't make fun of me for this). Are public transports easy to use? I've never used one before. What should I expect culture wise? I am a petite (5'1" 130lbs) female so safety is also a concern. Thank you. |
