TitleA Saturday afternoon out in the Toon

Hi, I'm heading into town from Lanarkshire with the wife on Saturday for a bite to eat and drinks.

Not been out in the town for some time (had some bad experiences in the past) and wondering the best places to go for some cheap drinks and the possibility of some afternoon live music or even a juke box.

Heard that a massive orange walk is talking place in the town centre around George Square and that's the general area we are going to, are there any pubs to avoid so I don't run into a bunch of drunk wee fannies (I'm guessing best to avoid wetherspoons in general)
