Title	Does putting a 'no circulars' sign on your letterbox do anything?

Body	I hope this doesn't come off as a Karen complaint, it's a minor inconvenience and I just want to reduce paper waste. My flat gets inundated with leaflets from farmfoods, Nisa, dominoes etc. I put a wee note on the letterbox saying "please no circulars, free newspapers, leaflets, etc." But the postie doesn't seem to care and he now delivers even more along with our mail! Does the silly little note I've stuck to the letterbox mean anything or can he just happily ignore it?
