I made a stupid mistake: I used the Council Tax from 2021/2022 instead of 2022/2023 to make the payment. So I had £3 missing from the payment due in July and only realised it yesterday. I paid it on the website as soon as I realised the error, I have received the automatic email from Glasgow CC saying payment was made but the transaction is still pending on my bank account.
Today I received a Council Tax reminder sent on the 10th apparently, saying I had 7 days to pay.
I made the transaction yesterday but if the payment is still pending on the 18th (so after the 7 days), am I still at risk of losing my right to pay by instalment? Has anyone been in that case before?
I tried to send a message through the chat on GCC but it is closed for now, I'll try again tomorrow.
