I own a wee flat in Glasgow and now my place it pretty much complete I’ve decided I’d like to sort the foot door myself to save others having to chip in.
Basically strip, undercoat and paint the door and frame. Clean the buzzer and labels up. Change the cheap handle with a solid brass pair and fit a brass kick plate and door number.
Our doors pretty scrapped up and the plastic door numbers are long gone! Would obviously show neighbours photo of the colour and handles.
I’m going to do the work myself over a couple days but whats the best way of doing this? Do I need to inform the factor or just ask my neighbours and crack on? |
