TitleHandmade Kiltmaker, any experiences / recommendations?

I'm wanting to get the full kilt outfit (to buy, not hire) and I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations? I've been to MacGregor and MacDuff on Bath Street years ago when my brother got his kilt for his wedding, and they seemed good. But I've also heard great things about James Robertson on Sauchiehall St.

McG & McD have online prices which is helpful, but JR doesn't have anything online. And I don't want to seem like a cheap c**t if I go in and then balk at the price! Anyone get a kilt recently? Or have any positive or negative stories? Or any other recommendations?

Cheers!
