TitleCan you no longer get tested for Covid ?
AuthorEddytorJesus
Body
Hello! I woke up yesterday with some Covid symptoms which is worrying since I'm supposed to travel abroad in the next few days and I also saw some friends at the week end.
I did a lateral flow test and it came out negative but I know these often test positive people as negative.
I tried to check online how to get tested but I'm always redirected to the same few pages that says "Most people no longer need to take a coronavirus test. You should stay at home if unwell. Testing is still available to specific groups."

https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-covid-19

Some pages also say that free testing is not longer eligible but do not say how to book a paid test.

Does anyone know is testing centres are still open, or if/how I can get a test done ?
