TitleSense of pride when tourists compliment Glasgow/Scotland?

Anyone else feel like they get a genuine sense of pride, and even dare I say, a certain warm fuzzy feeling when they speak to tourists who have nothing but great things to say about Glasgow and/or Scotland in general?

I've always found this. Also that it doesn't even necessarily have to apply to people from overseas/far flung places. I love speaking to people from Manchester/Liverpool/Yorkshire/Ireland say how much kindship they feel with Glasweigans/Scots - in many cases more so than they feel kinship with people from other parts of their own country.
