Titlewhere can an adult learn to ride a bike without risk of injuring others?

Long story short: I noped out of the process of learning how to ride bicycles at age 6, when my mom started trying to remove the training wheels.

Now at 32 (I know 😂) I'm willing to compensate for the wasted years and would like to learn it properly. My plan would be to rent one of those app bikes that are posted around the city and take it somewhere with lots of open space and not a lot of people walking around that I could run or fall over with my 210lbs of adult clumsiness.

The problem is that with as many green areas as there are in Glasgow, most ones that I've seen are mostly narrow paths surrounded by large patches of grass, which is not great for my objectives. Are there any places that are kind of the opposite of this configuration? Or just bike learner-friendly in general?

Thanks!
