Title	Been trying to figure out where to live for a while...

Body	And I'm doing pretty terribly at it. Essentially I'm trying to find anywhere that has an under 15 min walk to a train station with some walkable nature and under 40 min train ride into glasgow with a budget of 230k (2 bed house, not a flat). I don't care at all about nice clubs, shops or restaurants. Everytime I think I find somewhere nice I realise I've been naive and someone tells me I've picked somewhere dangerous. Could someone recommend somewhere?
