Body | It's just a happy accident I'm going to be in the Glasgow area when Coldplay is in town (I'm coming from the States). But when I bought my ticket, Ticketmaster UK said it would be mailing me a physical ticket, not an e-ticket. The problem: Ticketmaster said I'll receive my ticket a maximum of one to five days before the concert; I'm leaving for Europe on Aug. 11, and the concert is Aug. 23. If Ticketmaster follows through on that, I won't be here — in New York City — to grab the ticket. I've reached out to Ticketmaster a couple of times to tell them my issue, but they essentially either play it down, or tell me to reach out closer to the date of the show. Bottom line: They're not being very helpful at all.
So I was just wondering: For those in the UK/in Europe who bought a ticket to the Glawgow show, are you being issued a physical ticket, or an e-ticket? If no e-tickets are being issued, I guess I'm just trying to decide if I should tell them to send it to a hotel I'm staying at, or my Airbnb or something. I know I shouldn't be as stressed as I am right now, I just wish Ticketmaster would understand why I'm anxious. |
