TitleWhy are wages in Glasgow criminally low?

You go to uni, pick a course such as administration and business , you do everything that is expected, get good grades, get yourself experience , eventually get a job in a office and they pay you £18,000 (this a joke for anyone never mind someone in wrong side of late 20s)

Not much better elsewhere in Glasgow. Your looking at £21,000 in a company with targets and shitty work culture.

Work full time yet can’t afford rent, food and utilities. Can’t afford to hit the town with friends or go out for a date because a meal for 2 comes to £100 nowadays, glass of wine is £9.50 in city centre or a pint £6.

Am I missing something here? There is literally no incentive to work anymore. I feel like I’m wasting my life.

If I stick in I might make £25000 in 5 years which is utter bs.

I’m not greedy either I just want security and get up to stuff in the 3 hours free time I have a day after being stuck in a shitty office job that eats away half my waking day
