Title	Will you be arrested for smoking cannabis in public?

Body	I’ve just moved over from the US and I’m not clear on the police attitude towards marijuana in Scotland. If I were smoking a joint while out walking (in the woods or at a reservoir, say) and someone called the police would I be arrested or do they issue some sort of warning/let-off? Never mind i should just smoke it at home in private, let’s just say I were smoking on the go. I’m aware cannabis is illegal and potentially controversial, so no need for any sanctimonious replies 🙂
