Title‘Scottish accent’

Any other Glaswegians find it weird why non-Scottish people talk about a single ‘Scottish accent’? If anything it shows ignorance. There’s about three in the West of Scotland at least.

I’m from Glasgow and I’m unable to understand a TikTok video where the guy is from an isolated village in Aberdeenshire. I’ve spent the past half an hour laughing non-stop watching it and trying to understand what he said. He genuinely sounds like an American who tries to do a Scottish accent but over exaggerated it way too much.
