I think my street/ area of the southside just got unlucky in terms of when the bins strikes started and stopped. As it has been quite a long stretch without green bin pickup. Want to preface this by saying of course I don't begrudge striking workers seeking better pay and conditions.
Just curious as to what other people living in tiny flats did with their main household waste at the point where it started to overflow (not recyclables as that stuff is clean and alright to kick about in the kitchen for a few weeks).
There is a nightly fiesta of foxes and probably worse out the back so creating some sort of heap out there isn't my fave solution. Bin pickups are due to return any day now just looking for some short term idea to avoid a smelly gross weekend. Thanks. |
