TitleNeighborhood guide: Any LA/SD/SF CA transplants living in Glasgow?
AuthorKiwi-Heavy

We are looking to move to Glasgow and would like to get an idea of the neighborhoods to live in.

I used to live in North Beach San Francisco circa 2005 and loved the vibe. Any suggestions for that? Other neighborhoods I enjoyed: Miracle Mile LA, Hillcrest SD, West Hollywood LA, Nob Hill SF, Bankers Hill SD, and Castro SF.

I saw the West End is the nicest part of town, but it is out of my budget so I'm basically looking for something nice but not too luxurious or upscale. We're also older lesbians and would like safe, gay friendly areas. Any suggestions that accommodate most of these things?

Alternatively, what part of town has the most grocery stores? LOL. My wife and I will be relying on public transportation and can't walk super far with groceries because of our back problems.
