I got my first smear test done at the end of July and the nurse told me it would be 2-4 weeks before i got the results, and that they would come directly to my house. It's closing in on 7 weeks now and I still haven't got anything. I've phoned my GP practice and the receptionist told me it's 2-4 weeks before results, and when I told them it's now been nearly 7 weeks and I've not heard they just told me 'it's probably a backlog'.

Just wondering if anyone else in Glasgow has had to wait a long time, like if it is a back log, or if I should chase my practice up about it again? |
