This probably reads a little like I'm asking for folk to do homework for me, but Google tends to just churn up the big charity shop companies and the Southside volunteer group on Facebook is pretty inactive.
Seeing as everything is going to shit lately, I want to make the effort to give back to the local community where I can—especially going into the winter.
Does anyone have any suggestions or links to local causes, charities, volunteer groups etc. that need assistance? What are other folk putting their time and energy into? I'm based around Cathcart, if that helps. |
