Went for a haircut yesterday, been to this place twice and unfortunately this time round I took a really bad reaction to the bleach.
I told the barber I have a sensitive scalp but she wanted to give me the wash and cut first, I think that’s what did it. Usually when I’ve bleached my hair we do that first and I won’t wash my hair for a bit so the oils protect my scalp more.
I hadn’t had a cut by her before and I think she did a good job of it but I’m upset about how it went down. I was crying in the chair and they made it out like I was just being a bit sensitive, and then tried to act like it was just a flare up of my scalp but I’m definitely chemically burnt.
I’m overall not happy with the experience and I don’t want to go back, so if anyone has any good recommendations for a barber please let us know. |
