| Body | Have been living in this flat for a year or so now, when I first moved in the guy in the flat above me would throw out bread, crisps, cakes and other snacks from his balcony. It would land on the ground mostly, but some would land on my balcony too. Tends to be stale/mouldy food.
Went up and had a chat with him after this went on for a few weeks. Wasn't very pleasant, he claims he was feeding the birds and kept insisting that the birds have been here longer than I have. The food he throws attracts like 10-20 seagulls every day. He did eventually agree to stop doing it, although he insisted no food ever landed on my balcony even though I showed a picture of his mouldy bread that actually fell in my flat.
Recently during the pandemic he's started it up again. Is there anything I can do about him? Might write him a letter asking him to stop again, just to have something in writing.
I don't really want seagulls attracted to my flat nor do I want mouldy food on my balcony. But I also don't really want to waste anyone's time when there's a lot more important stuff going on.
I might wait until everythings back to normal a bit, but does anyone know if there is anyone I could contact about it if he doesn't listen to me this time? |
