| Body | Hi everyone, wondering if there is a mechanic on here or someone who would know: I have my MOT due in may and understand it will be extended. But I don't feel comfortable extending it.
Gov guidelines says keep it "roadworthy" but I know nothing about cars and mine is a 10 year old car I bought a year ago and would really like it checked. I could go to a garage for someone to have a look but then I might as well pay for a full MOT, some further checks maybe and any repairs in one go.
So my question is can I still do the MOT has planned (given also that there is a garage literally three doors away from my place so not venturing far and can clean car beforehand and interact with mechanic as little as possible)?
