  • Yea happened to me '96 Laguna on the fast lane of M8, driving then darkness and glass everywhere. Thank fuck the folk behind me had left enough of a gap to stop but had to actually phone the cops to get off as every fucking nob on the road decided to keep going at motorway speed rather than let me over. by 273BeLow (Fri 19th Jul 2019 11:51pm)
  • Hopefully your car is alright! But are you the person with the epilepsy inducing Christmas lights every year? :p by 273BeLow (Fri 21st Feb 2020 8:38pm)
  • I filled in the form, I genuinely do not watch TV, the small amount of time watching stuff is youtube or a paid streaming service), "We won't contact you for 2 years". Less than a year later start getting letters demanding I have to pay or let them know still don't need a licence. They are wasting money regardless. by 273BeLow (Fri 27th Mar 2020 5:56pm)
  • Bins collection here has been a bit iffy and just running our of space with living room being a makeshift office for her while I'm working out the home office. Think I'm just going to have to live with a pile of junk in the meantime and accept could have it worse! by 273BeLow (Mon 27th Apr 2020 4:08pm)
  • My mum moved into a Persimmon new build last year, while I'm not going to question the linked comments of those who directly worked on the building of houses with them, I will say they have been nothing but brilliant with her. Issues have been sorted incredibly quickly and without fuss. Really nothing about the property unhappy with. Just don't ask about their kitchen appliance pricing it was crazy high, ended up just doing it myself using AO. by 273BeLow (Wed 10th Jun 2020 12:02pm)
  • I can't recommend a garage but have you had a look already? When I had a fiat panda there was some kind of letterbox sized vent under the flap where spare wheel was that cracked/was no longer flush. Just went around it with silicone sealant and sorted it right out. by 273BeLow (Thu 11th Mar 2021 5:57pm)
  • I'm an idiot and didn't know till yesterday that the vaccination notifications were done via your GP, not currently registered so had to call the covid helpline on 0800 030 8013 and arrange for vaccination myself. by 273BeLow (Wed 26th May 2021 2:30pm)
  • They asked how I wanted to be contacted, said phone, then they advised be up to ten days to hear so wouldn't worry yet. by 273BeLow (Thu 27th May 2021 12:54am)
  • Just take out the zero damage waiver whenever renting, it's never that much. I'll put my hand up and admit to mangling the side of a brand new van last time I rented one, yes I'm a pillock but at least it only ended up costing me a tenner and pride. by 273BeLow (Wed 14th Jul 2021 11:37am)
