  • People always take these opportunities to shit on football fans but this is a non story and always completely expected when there is a large gathering. The blame lies on GCC for not creating a fanzone where the mess could be more contained. There is always going to be litter at this level when the crowds are as big as they are. For a comparison to show the level of classism that’s always on show here, there was a similar post created after the Pride walk maybe a year or two ago, but everyone defended it saying it’s to be expected. But because it was football fans this time, everyone is taking their chance to shit on them because they’re classist arseholes. by 3_Putts_ (Mon 16th May 2022 10:26am)

  • I like football and golf. While footgolf never appealed to me, do the golfers not realise it brings (probably needed) funding to the course? Also, do they have foot golfers out on the same day as golfers? by 3_Putts_ (Sat 21st May 2022 9:51pm)

  • Do you go abroad/away on two trips a year or more? Do you fill your car all the way up? Does it not stress you out when doing so? Do you have hobbies like skiing, tennis, golf, horse riding? Does your employer provide a good pension? Do you and your partner both own their own PCP car and pay £300+ a month each? If you say yes to most or all of these questions, you’re probably middle class by 3_Putts_ (Mon 23rd May 2022 11:33pm)
  • Yeah, I know what you mean. PCP cars are a luxury. Just worded it poorly. by 3_Putts_ (Tue 24th May 2022 10:17am)
  • You got any pics? I’m a welder with 10 years experience and papers Never done any car work but if it’s carbon steel it shouldn’t be a problem by 3_Putts_ (Thu 26th May 2022 2:12pm)
  • DELETED I’m a golfer myself. I don’t play at this local club but a lot of golfers hate dog walkers trekking through a course. I usually only go late at night when it’s quiet and I stick to the side of the course anyway out of sight by 3_Putts_ (Thu 16th Jun 2022 10:17am)

  • DELETED I’ll only walk late at night when it’s quiet and I’m not walking on the fairway and am well in the tree lines so it’s not a problem. by 3_Putts_ (Thu 16th Jun 2022 10:20am)

  • DELETED Im not touching it. Ethically it’s poor that they’ve put it out but legally they might be within their right and have permission, which is what I’m asking about. I’ve heard of courses having problems with moles and rabbits digging up the course so it’s probably out for a reason. by 3_Putts_ (Thu 16th Jun 2022 11:06am)
