  • My partner works at Glasgow uni and live in Shawlands. Train runs every 10 mins or so into Glasgow central and then takes the subway...Overall I think it takes like half an hour or so and I guess that's not too bad. Plenty of nice places in Southside by AndreeaGD (Wed 22nd Jun 2022 5:35pm)
  • There's a Romanian shop in Shawlands. It's pretty big and they have quite a few things :) The only thing to keep in mind are the prices. by AndreeaGD (Wed 22nd Jun 2022 10:10pm)
  • I live in Shawlands with my partner and he works at UoG. He takes the train which only takes 10 mins into Glasgow central and then the subway (not sure on the time but like 10 mins too I guess) so I guess worth to look southside of Glasgow too and the train station available by AndreeaGD (Wed 6th Jul 2022 12:18pm)

  • I find that just using excel on a daily basis and doing the same stuff over and over again will let you familiarize with the menu pretty easily. I still google most of the complex formulas even though I've been using excel for ages. If you have a computer with excel on it I'd recommend just opening it and have a play with it for a bit, just go through all the tabs and see what they do. If you haven't got excel you can try google sheets, they both work pretty much the same. You can't learn excel in just a day but practice will help a lot! :) by AndreeaGD (Thu 8th Sep 2022 10:27pm)
