  • Having been through this over the course of many years here's my advice; - contact the child maintenance service to have it noted with them you are paying each month. - If you are concerned with her drinking, a call to her health visitor or social services wouldn't hurt and it's anonymous but they probably will suspect you. - Get in touch with a family lawyer. They will try everything they can before taking it to court because it is very stressful and can put a strain on the relationships. There's also the financial strain of it. - Consider mediation? This could be the first step to improve the relationship between you and your ex/her family. by BigLittlePerson (Tue 30th Mar 2021 8:23am)

  • I put my ASUS in to the Tech Bar on Byers Road - it was fixed within a day and for a reasonable price incl student discount. This was a software issue right enough but I'm sure they can fix something like yours. by BigLittlePerson (Thu 15th Apr 2021 7:52pm)

  • Most dentists will refer you to the hospital if they are not oral surgeons themselves so look for somewhere that specialises in that. The wait for the hospital is about 3/4 months for extractions. If you're in extreme pain/swelling ,contact your dentist who should see you pronto! by BigLittlePerson (Wed 1st Dec 2021 3:04pm)
  • Star Stitch just off George Square may possibly do this? They've done an amazing job with repairing expensive jackets of mine and tailoring others- so much so my friends and family have asked me to take their stuff in for them! by BigLittlePerson (Sun 5th Dec 2021 8:28pm)

Asked if this could be moved 3/4 months forward so I can finish without stress but nahhh they gotta buy their son his second home. No idea what I’m gonna do with my kid in tow. What I’m saying is you’re not alone so don’t feel like you’re whining :( by BigLittlePerson (Fri 14th Oct 2022 8:56pm)
