  • Glasgow Vintage Co on GWR is the best in my opinion. Everything is easy to look through. Most times I go, I buy something. Seen some cool pieces in West Vintage but a lot of it is overpriced. Mr Benz has so much stuff. You need to be prepared to rummage as it’s packed. Good place to go for trainers/shoes. City Retro around the corner is a bit smaller but they usually have good stuff too. by C_JupiterIV (Tue 28th Jul 2020 10:53pm)
  • Restaurants will have a button on their till that they will use to apply the discount. Then they can pull a report of how much discount has been applied using the button which as well as the closed checks, is what I imagine they need to provide to claim the money back. by C_JupiterIV (Fri 7th Aug 2020 11:36am)
  • They haven’t really thought about the fact that it’s going to be harder for customers to spend their ‘credit’ because of the scheme. Yeah, £10 per person would normally be easy to spend but with the scheme, they are basically asking for a £20 minimum spend. Customers shouldn’t be forced to order more just because the government are footing part of the bill. In normal circumstances, you could only spend £10 and redeem the full deposit, but as the government are paying part of the bill, you’re expected to spend more.....that’s a bit shite. What do you do force yourself a pudding or lose out on the discount? They state in the website that a ‘deposit’ is required. But then when you actually book you are asked to ‘pre-book credit’. Then you are told you are pre-paying ‘items’.... awful booking process. They are covering their backs by saying deposits are non-refundable and yeah, the whole scheme is to help boost the hospitality industry but they are defo being shite bags. by C_JupiterIV (Tue 11th Aug 2020 7:42pm)
  • But Brel have chosen to participate in the Eat Out To Help Out scheme..they should expect bills to be less. And they are getting the £90 discounted money back! The £30 the are keeping is free money and I don’t see how they can justify keeping it. I don’t think they are purposely scamming, I just think they have got it wrong. by C_JupiterIV (Wed 12th Aug 2020 10:16am)

  • I don’t think there is a specific verse. A minister / Priest will pick a verse that they like or think is appropriate. Same with any kind of celebration/ service. by C_JupiterIV (Sun 8th Nov 2020 3:21pm)

  • I love strolling up there every now and then to check out the progress and any new art. It’s called The Arches DIY. A bunch of local skaters have been working on it for a few years. [IG Link](https://instagram.com/arches_diy?igshid=13bfm6206kjru) In the space to the right of the skate park there’s loads of street art too. by C_JupiterIV (Sun 10th Jan 2021 10:56pm)

  • Worked there for a bit. It was a nightmare. So busy at the weekend and we were never allowed the amount of staff required to cope. Every Saturday and Sunday lunch shift was traumatising. Fuck G1. by C_JupiterIV (Sun 7th Mar 2021 10:30am)
  • Hey buddy! I am literally going through the exact same thing as you. I think the lack of distraction this past year has made it all come to a head. Just wanna send you a virtual hug. Hope you manage to see someone soon. by C_JupiterIV (Fri 19th Mar 2021 8:18pm)
  • I think the Spice Kitchen curry packets are great. Or the jars of curry sauce with the spices in the lid that you get in Lidl. You get a packet of spices and a separate sauce, so you can do things like roast your veg/ meat in spices first before putting them in the sauce by C_JupiterIV (Thu 25th Mar 2021 9:14pm)

  • Hey! My skin went haywire during lockdown so started becoming obsessed with skincare. The products below are some of my favourite products that I found really helped and would be a good base to start off with. You can get all of them in Superdrug and good value. Cerave Hydrating Cleanser - I never new my skin was being robbed of moistures by previous cleansers until I started using this. I would also recommend cleansing oils/ balms instead of foaming cleansers. If you wash it off with a warm cloth the cloth acts as a gentle exfoliater Hada Labo Tokyo Super Hydrator - apply to damp skin. It feels like giving your skin a glass of water Weleda Skin Food - amazing on dry skin. I use it everywhere. Hope that’s helps! by C_JupiterIV (Mon 4th Oct 2021 10:19pm)
