  • I bought mine from Frasers of Falkirk. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. Smaller family run dealership, nice selection of cars at a very reasonable price and it came with a 6 month warranty. Excellent service from start to finish and great after care too. by CampMain (Thu 24th Jun 2021 10:31pm)
  • So it’s not West End but I found this one when I had a Google. They’re called Saltire Thistle and they train at Glasgow Green. [Saltire Thistle](https://leapsports.org/saltire-thislte-fc) by CampMain (Tue 29th Jun 2021 12:23pm)

  • Depends on the service. Fully aware I’m playing into the ‘Scots are tight’ stereotype but if the service is poor I’m not tipping. Good service ? 10% or more. If it’s myself and one other about the £5/£6 mark. Bigger groups then maybe like £2/£3 each. by CampMain (Mon 27th Jun 2022 10:29am)
  • Only reason I go is if I’m at IKEA. I’d rather park and ride and hit the city centre. by CampMain (Sun 4th Sep 2022 9:53pm)
  • There’s a music themed walking tour that’s very cool. See the city and learn a bit about its musical history. If there’s football on the pubs will be busy. Plenty with live music. Sloans do a ceilidh on a Friday and Avant Garde do one on Saturday. by CampMain (Wed 21st Sep 2022 8:46pm)

  • Think of it this way. You buy a place and it doesn’t work out, you sell it for a profit. In the meantime you have a new bigger, better place for you and the kids and husband to be to live in. What is the benefit of a wedding anyway ? Like other people have said, registry office with your nearest and dearest. Don’t feel you have to have a big wedding because everyone else is. by CampMain (Wed 5th Jul 2023 1:06pm)

Avant Garde on Saturday has a swing style band on first and a ceilidh afterwards. Really great food too. I’ve always had a great night there. by CampMain (Sun 9th Jul 2023 10:32pm)

  • Civil Servant here. We are always hiring, especially for admin based roles. Filter your search to AO roles and maybe even EO roles. There are lots of resources on civil service jobs to help with the application process including competency frameworks to help with filling in the application. If you were to sign on to Universal Credit they can refer you to providers for support with job finding, CV’s, applications, gaining skills. They’ll help to pay the rent too. They often have providers in the job centre with jobs and they will be able to refer you to jobs they’ve been made aware of. by CampMain (Fri 18th Aug 2023 11:04am)
  • If you’re unemployed and claiming Universal Credit ask them about Springboard hospitality training. Failing that, I know Tennants training academy offer various hospitality related courses. by CampMain (Mon 28th Aug 2023 8:39pm)
