  • Thanks everyone for help 🙏. So, I’ve contacted my bank and on Monday they will start something called an “Online dispute”. If this isn’t gonna work I’m taking it to the small claims courts as many of you advised. Will keep you all updated. by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 9:41am)
  • I’ll post all the links here a bit later on cause I got them saved on my PC and not a mobile. There was one UNBELIEVABLE story how they never paid a mentally challenged kid- this kid didn’t even had a change for a bus so he had to walk home (and he was staying pretty far away). That very young fellow apparently was murdered that night. Then there were reviews were people were complaining about the orders they paid for and never received + there was even an article in one of the news sites about ppl who got really sick because kcal kitchen puts “imaginary” kcal and nutritions on their menus that apparently doesn’t match the food at all. by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 9:47am)
  • Wow never heard of that section 75, that’s actually really helpful thank you so much 🙏 by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 9:54am)
  • DELETED Not a tight one but a strict one. What I meant is, after I spent that money on prep meal service I had not much left for groceries 🥲. Btw am just living off student loan and part time job, also due to the inflation £260 today is not what it used to be 10 years back 😅. by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 9:51am)
  • It’s £260 per MONTH worth of ready meals. So that comes as let’s say £50 per week (this includes stuff like electricity one would use to cook those meals). I actually don’t drink or go out and my hobby is sport (so spending a bit more money on food for me is more of a hobby related expense). Out of curiosity how do you spent 10/20 per week? I’m usually shopping in Lidl what comes across as one of the cheap groceries and my average shopping is usually about 15/20 per few days. Am I doing something wrong? by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 11:04am)
  • Right, check their Facebook page reviews as I can’t really upload a link to them. There are few good ones but most of them are people either telling you about how poorly they treat stuff or how they never received the money back. The story about the boy with learning disabilities is also there (it’s upvoted so easy to find). //. • Hehehe yeah, not funny at all. There are more details on multiple review sites + I don’t think I embellished that story. Also, it’s not like I detailed it or something. He clearly didn’t have a change for a us since he had to walk (as even comments suggests). But yeah right, look at me, a modern clickbait. by Candle_Whisperer (Sat 11th Jun 2022 12:18pm)
