  • I wouldn’t say random violence is that common in my experience, more likely Ned on Ned. Also, it takes a wee while to tune into the local patter/accent, may sound aggressive to some or bad natured but more likely than anything it’ll be good natured or done in jest. Personally never had a problem. My pals place got burgled when he was on holiday years ago, that’s all I can think of.   • Some places are official conservation areas. So there’s some weird rules like you can’t replace the windows or paint your front door certain colours etc. Don’t know how strictly they’re enforced though. by CapeKiller (Sun 4th Jul 2021 9:01pm)
