  • I've lived in Glasgow and Edinburgh and the both have their pros and cons, but in Edinburgh I've found a casual hand up as the bus approaches and the dude pulls over, in Glasgow you have to send up flares while the bus is half a mile away. by Colbey_uk (Sat 24th Aug 2019 11:50pm)

  • I'd love to use taxis more, but I very rarely have cash. Live in the centre of Edinburgh and for some reason there's always a problem using the card machine and then I get a dirty look. Does the app accept cards through it or if you want to pay with a card you still have to do it in person? by Colbey_uk (Sun 6th Sep 2020 2:55pm)

  • Beth at The Glasgow Mortgage Company was great. My partner and I were pretty worried about being able to get a mortgage due to history, but she did a great job and secured us a mortgage. by Colbey_uk (Mon 21st Mar 2022 10:51am)
  • I've done it, it was a freaking ride. We got something really cheap, but keep in your head this phrase - "Buyer beware" They don't have to tell you a god damn thing about the property. You google-fu any property you like the look of. Got stuck with a flat with a compulsory repair order on it. If we had done our proper research we would have found it on page 9 of a pdf on the 4th google search page (not real numbers, but something like that). by Colbey_uk (Tue 22nd Mar 2022 12:06am)
  • Been in Glasgow for years, but the other week was my first time using the subway when a Rangers game was on. Got on at Buchanan St, better believe I'm going all the way to Ibrox then back to whatever station I actually needed to be at. by Colbey_uk (Tue 29th Mar 2022 9:09pm)
