  • Wow! Incredible find! This car drove right past my flat which at this point, was a bit of spare ground/trees. So fascinating to see the city frozen in time like this. by DVDO_ (Thu 4th Feb 2021 12:14am)
  • Glasgow Uni - go through main entrance straight through to the other side where there is a small car park and hill - the trees there are great for sitting under when the cherry blossoms are in bloom by DVDO_ (Wed 24th Mar 2021 1:10am)
  • I had that feeling as well I remember! It was particularly prominent when signing the missives and finalising everything. Scary life changing stuff! by DVDO_ (Wed 24th Mar 2021 1:29am)
  • Yes! I filled this in too - early 30s and based in city centre (not hot spot post codes) and literally 10 mins later, I get a text and email saying I have an appointment in e early June. Try this anyone who is in their 30s in central Glasgow - totally worth a shot by DVDO_ (Tue 18th May 2021 12:55am)
  • Kelvin Way - in the summer. Walking under those trees on either side with the sun streaming in through the leaves is lovely. Hope they don't open it to traffic ever again by DVDO_ (Tue 18th May 2021 7:11pm)
  • You can reschedule online in exactly the way you described by going to https://www.nhsinform.scot/covid-19-vaccine/invitations-and-appointments/rearrange-or-opt-out-of-your-coronavirus-vaccination-appointment Once you're logged in with your unique username given in your appointment text or letter, you can select a vaccine centre and pick a date on the calendar and select an available time slot. I do agree that this option should be available for people to MAKE their appointment though, rather than just rescheduling assigned ones. by DVDO_ (Tue 25th May 2021 8:24am)
  • Was there more than 2? I was cycling through Glasgow Green tonight and seen 2 older looking neds on bikes shouting abuse at an outdoor workout class - 2 mins later, one of them rides up really close behind me shouting beep beep... Then proceeds to cross a road running out in front of traffic causing a car to slow down suddenly to avoid hitting him. Clowns, hope they crash into a lamppost. That area you mentioned under the bridge at Central seems to attract the Jackie's right enough. I cycle through it every day and there's usually always someone cutting about with booze bring a nuisance by DVDO_ (Wed 2nd Jun 2021 10:15pm)
  • I woke up with a notion for French toast today as well!! Only I have no bread... or eggs... or even milk... Trip to the shops I reckon. Enjoy your dinner tonight! by DVDO_ (Sun 20th Jun 2021 12:34pm)
  • Anybody? by DVDO_ (Sun 12th Sep 2021 12:16am)
  • I tried to go along there today and got turned away at the Holiday Inn beside the squinty bridge just as you approach the hydro. There's a sign up saying "Crowne Plaza access only". Don't think you're getting to the Riverside museum that way anytime soon by DVDO_ (Sun 24th Oct 2021 8:19pm)
  • I've been with them since 2018 and never any major problems. Recently I've found that there is a bit of a delay whenever I'm in a zoom meeting but I don't know if that's my broadband or my laptop that's most likely shite cos everything else runs fine! by DVDO_ (Tue 16th Nov 2021 9:20pm)
  • Call 0800 917 6115. This is the NHS Glasgow and Clyde vaccine helpline. I called it last Monday and a lovely girl managed to arrange me an appointment the same day at Partick Burgh Hall. It's better than the centralised number you are given everywhere else to call. Good luck! by DVDO_ (Tue 21st Dec 2021 2:31pm)
  • My driving instructor took me to the Showcase cinema car park back in the day by DVDO_ (Wed 22nd Dec 2021 10:36pm)
  • I had a PCR test on 30th Dec and still no result... Phoned them up yesterday to chase and they said it's been flagged and should be in touch within 72 hours... Surely the result will be a bit void and out of date by that point! Been taking LFTs everyday since and all negative and no symptoms so I'm sure all good, but feels like that trip to the walk in test centre was a pointless endeavour by DVDO_ (Mon 3rd Jan 2022 5:48pm)
  • What a pain! To have 2 tests and not get any results from them is ridiculous but also a sad indication of just how overstretched the testing services must be at the moment. I hope you feel better and get some negative LFTs soon. by DVDO_ (Tue 4th Jan 2022 1:37am)
  • Years and years of annual price increases yet arguably a decrease in quality of service, no wonder people rip them off. Deservedly so. by DVDO_ (Sat 8th Jan 2022 10:05pm)
  • I keep mine in the flat but tell you what, lugging a bike up and down 3 flights of stairs daily gets old fast... I can see why people leave theirs out in closes but for me personally, I'd rather be knackered for 5 mins a day than have my bike stolen by DVDO_ (Fri 4th Mar 2022 10:29am)
  • Flying Duck used to but it's also been years since I was there so not sure. Worth going anyway! by DVDO_ (Thu 14th Apr 2022 10:36pm)
  • Same. Wettest, cloudiest and grey-est June for years. So depressing. by DVDO_ (Tue 28th Jun 2022 11:27pm)
  • Yes that is actually near me and would probably explain it! Thank you for this Intel! Will go over and have a snoop of what's going on and see if anything is actually being done about it. Fucking drunk drivers... I can work in the office but it's more for evenings when I want to watch Netflix and game online that's the kicker.. Do you think I could bring my PS5 to a library to install some updates haha (that's a joke btw everyone) by DVDO_ (Wed 3rd Aug 2022 3:14pm)
  • Did you end up going anywhere today then? by DVDO_ (Wed 12th Oct 2022 11:08pm)
  • It just always seems wet at the moment... And with the leaves all over the pavement and roads, everything is just constant mush. Hate this time of year. by DVDO_ (Mon 31st Oct 2022 5:39pm)
  • I managed to get a decent deal at the weekend - Large Pizza for £6.99 collect at store. Otherwise it's usually 12 quid. Not that bad imo by DVDO_ (Thu 20th Jul 2023 8:55pm)
  • My airpods got stolen recently as well and also got tracked to an address in Maryhill before going offline after a few days (not the same street as yours). I've made my peace with the fact they're gone and it's most likely yours is as well. Sorry by DVDO_ (Mon 13th Nov 2023 9:05pm)
