  • You hear mixed reviews about Celinos in the west end, but they're great with big families and kids. I personally had a great pizza there. by Deep_Lying_Playmaker (Sun 25th Sep 2022 4:11pm)
  • The crossroads at Byres Road/Great Western Road/Queen Margaret drive is bad. There's no right turn allowed if you're coming from Byres Road, it leads straight into a pedestrian crossing. Already seen drivers ignore that and gamble on ploughing through pedestrians, usually some cunt who drives a 4x4 in the fucking largest urban area in Scotland. by Deep_Lying_Playmaker (Thu 9th Feb 2023 11:44pm)

  • Christ, why's everyone in this thread being such an aggy cunt? I'm from Newcastle, lived in Glasgow for a while now. West End is good but a bit fancier, think Jesmond with a sprinkle of hipster. If you end up there I'd recommend the Lismore, Sparkle House, Aragon and Factory for pubs/bars. Bag o Nails isn't bad, bit livelier. There's only one club, Sanctuary if it's still called that, it's pretty much your bog standard deal in there. As for city centre, Sauchiehall Street has plenty going on but is a bit rowdier, so a bit like the Bigg Market. Plenty of bars, take your pick, they're much of a muchness. Found Mango and Variety bar to be a bit more interesting/better than most there. Garage nightclub is around there too, a bit shite, full of students usually. Merchant City is the best of both I'd say in the city centre. There are some nice decent bars and pubs around there, merchant square has Bar Soba and a pretty nice O'Neills if you're after a familiar chain. Boteco de Brasil is good and gets lively later on, same for Maggie Mays next door. Arta had a nightclub nearby, usually an older crowd but I've always found it quite fun. Enjoy your visit wor kid, Glasgow isn't full of miserable unfriendly little cunts like this thread would suggest. Most cunts are sound! by Deep_Lying_Playmaker (Wed 19th Jul 2023 11:13pm)

  • I'm about to start with Park Orthodontics. The initial appointment was £150, but they take it off your treat plan if you go ahead with one. Only good things to say about them so far, friendly and professional. I'm getting a sixth month Invisalign treatment plan, came out at around £2500. Less if you pay it upfront rather than monthly. by Deep_Lying_Playmaker (Mon 7th Aug 2023 8:48pm)
