  • I’ve been living in Anniesland for a while and I honestly think it’s one of the best places to stay in Glasgow. Great transport links with the 6/6A bus and the train station there. You’ve got M&S, Morrisons and Aldi to do your shopping. Dominoes, @Lunch, Subway, McDonald’s, Costa and a handful of corner shops. Wetherspoons too. Could take a walk or a cycle down the canal, also the rental bikes near Morrisons but then again the transport links will take you directly through West End in to town. The locals are mostly families/elderly in Anniesland with a couple of schools being situated there or nearby. You’ll see students doing some shopping in Morrisons every now and then. I agree with the estate agent, it’s a good place to live. by FatihaBx (Tue 17th May 2022 4:09pm)

  • Right? Gatekeeping heritage and calling those who are interested in it “weird”?😆 by FatihaBx (Sat 11th Jun 2022 7:31pm)
  • Petrol stations are your best bet tbh, the one in Crow Road Jordanhill has them. by FatihaBx (Sat 18th Jun 2022 4:11pm)
  • Every time I pass by, there’s always a police car or a fire engine on Earl Street or in Scotstoun in general lol I used to live on Henrietta Street a couple of years ago, did not like it at all. Had actual rats coming in through our ground floor flat, trouble with neighbours… maybe it’s different now. The locals are nice though, nice variety of shops around there and easy transport links to go and do your shopping or to go in to town. The actual flats around there I’d say are shite from my experience, but the area isn’t bad and once you walk up past Victoria park it’s really nice. A lot of students from a secondary school there so if you went to the gym in Scotstoun you’ll see them there or if you wanted to grab something for lunch the shops around Tesco are usually packed around 12-1pm. by FatihaBx (Sat 18th Jun 2022 4:22pm)
  • Depends where in Knightswood, if it’s towards Anniesland then that’s a great location to live in for a number of reasons. Can’t say much about Mount Florida though by FatihaBx (Sat 18th Jun 2022 4:30pm)
  • lol I remember someone cycling down Sauchiehall Street not long ago, he went over a lady’s foot and fell off his bike Too many people going full speed and trying to fit through narrow spaces, I’m sure the customers are going to want their food and drink in one piece rather than it being maybe 2/3 minutes earlier. by FatihaBx (Thu 11th May 2023 10:20pm)
  • Yea but it’s usually just the police u have to watch out for on warm days like today since they’re out patrolling on trains by FatihaBx (Tue 13th Jun 2023 8:37pm)
  • Right lol I’m sure there’s lots of cold and rain in store for us for the rest of the year, best to appreciate the heat whilst it lasts by FatihaBx (Wed 14th Jun 2023 2:02pm)

  • Napapijiri, Trespass, Craghoppers or The North Face with dry vent technology… you may be able to find what you’re looking for at a decent price on websites that aren’t from the actual brand for example ASOS, Zalando, GO Outdoors etc. by FatihaBx (Wed 30th Aug 2023 11:51am)
